RetinaRest |

· Book your RetinaRest Day and Night system as soon as you know your surgery date. · When the equipment arrives, practice adjusting it for different locations around your home and practice setting it up to be as comfortable as possible. · Plan how you are likely to prepare meals bearing in mind that you only have 10 minutes per hour to prepare and eat meals. · Go shopping for food, toiletries and entertainment. It is a good idea to get talking books and CDs to listen to. In the first few days after surgery you will probably not feel like reading, but large-print books and magazines might be useful later. · DVDs have the advantage of keeping your eyes in the correct position whilst using your RetinaRest with the purpose-designed mirror included; you will be able to watch TV and talk to friends and relatives and still be able to look at them. · Arrange toiletries and medications so they can be reached easily without raising your head. · Place your kettle or coffee maker in a low position so that you can make drinks without assistance. · Prepare enough clean comfortable clothes for the posturing period.
